More specifically, with wearing it overnight? Safe? Comfortable? Etc.?

My CAG Ripley has had a feather-picking problem since around December. I think it may have initially been brought on by stress--and since then he's been checked out by a vet and deemed healthy, so whatever the cause, it's not illness. He's got a plethora of toys to play with, and he does play with them, but about once a month or so, he chews a ( Read more... )

A co-worker of mine has a handsome 3 year old B&G who has all of a sudden started plucking himself. He has been to the vet numerous times, has been on allergy medicine and anti-inflammatories,  has been switched to a hypo-allergenic diet from Harrisons, is in a very loving home with lots of toys, interaction and out-of cage time. I, like a lot of folks, have gone home to my parents' house for the holidays, and (of course) brought my birds with me. We received some really good news about Georgie this week. His liver and kidney functions have returned to normal and he's finally gaining weight!! This is fantastic news for him.
